not support the Gigaware USB Microphone built into the USB Gigaware
headset.
This worked in Heron Heron but supports seems to be lost in Intrepid
Ibex

Just had the same problem since I just upgraded from 8.04 to 8.10 and
the fix seems to have worked as well...
been having the problem for about a week and just kinda ignored it,
thinking oh well it'll be fixed and well sicne it's been a week I came
to look for this :-)

to the bottom of your .bashrc file, which is located in your home
directory. That should fix the issue after you reboot

I havean older monitor that requires me to up my gamma to around 4.5, so
as not to be too dark So I have a script that does this via xgamma
on boot...
However every time I swtich to a full screen application, my gamma gets
reset back to 1 making my monitor well. v
the temporary solution I am using is I opened it and have the settings
how they need to be to open. run the following to stop any
