Vino blows away current vnc session and does not accept keystroked when
I try to log in back again. I can see it as there is no circle while I
am typing in the password.

Dudes, I've found the root of this problems for my PC. Probably, this
should help you.
For me that vino remote desktop server was loading gconfd. Trick that
fixes problem is to kill vino-server after GNOME login.
pkill -9 vino-server
Then, it resurrects back but stops flooding gconfd.

Deluge forgets settings about max. simultaneous active torrents and max.
upload speed after exit. I tried both settings dialog and run
configuration wizard.
Tried to hack config... When I click apply, settings are saved to
~/.config/deluge
I have updated Deluge to latest version for Ubuntu Intrepid from
launchpad, and now the settings are saved with no problems.

But, in addition to posted above, that was not all I found out. CPU load
goes down even more from 50% to 0%, if I restart metacity:
pkill metacity
nohup metacity >/dev/null &

After installing latest ALSA drivers the problem is still there.
The only effect I see is that Front Mic Boost was renamed in Internal
Mic Boost in alsamixer. But turning boot on it produces noise only.

I was also affected with this bug and spend about 2 days googling, why
suddently NetworkManager stopped detecting eth0.
I believe, this bug must be treated with high importance. Its obvious
case, that anyone will not able to get help from Ubuntu community, while
his/her network connection is down.
