Unfortunately I've found this error with Dapper and Edgy, too.
If I enable Hyper-Threading in BIOS, I can't use my keyboard and mouse.
(These are simple ps2 devices.) If I plug in my usb mouse, it works...
But I haven't an usb keyboard. Should I buy one? :-)

with evince (2.20.0, Ubuntu Gutsy) and with an other pdf viewer.
Adobe Reader (7.0.8 for Linux), KGhostview (0.20) and KPDF (0.5.7) show
it correctly.

Sorry for late answer, I am afraid I switched back to edgy few days ago, so I
cannot test with the new kernel. But I installed feisty kernel(both the generic
one and the one I compiled by customizing it) in edgy. The problem does not
occur with the same kernel in edgy, cached reads are

Maybe I was not correct, or this is not the right place, but I talked about
suspend, not hibernation.
Hibernation works for me, but suspend would be more important.

I have a MSI MS-7369 machine, too. The situation is the same. I use
amd64 Ubuntu (in the past 8.10, 9.04, now 9.10), and suspend problem is
persistent and very annoying.
