hostname beginning with letters ending in numbers.

Seems like after the 1st device scan if it tries to refresh the
partitions by doing another scan, it segfaults. I can open gparted,
do nothing, and tell it to rescan the devices and it segfaults.

Same story on my HP Compaq 2510p Notebook PC. The acpitz-virtual-0 temp6
is normally around 30C. Resume from suspend and it shows 100C and the
fan is on full speed.
