Communication with an exchange server is also affected by this bug. When I work
online and add a new contact with a home or business phone number it
immediately shows up with other phone added. When I delete the other phone on
the server using the web interface I lose one additional phone number
Similar here with Gutsy (Edubuntu). I try to setup autofs with automount maps

before slapd, can not find the maps and decides nothing to do. A simple

Same here with Gutsy: I try to work as local user on a client with libnss-ldap

following observations are helpful.

Seems rather strange here as well. I migrated a few user homes to a newly set
up Edgy server running the 2.6.17-10 generic kernel. The first two users were
quite happy, the third had the Permission Denied error, then I switched back to
the Dapper kernel. All three users use KDE and nfs mounted t

recognized the chipset. The i915.modeset=0 workaround really worked fo

could your suspend issues be caused by

Hi Tim,
kernel 2.6.35-rc5 is just a week old. Maverick will use 2.6.35 and after its
release, I guess, we can expect support for lucid as well, see
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1498079 . For the meantime, the module
you wish for your wlan is presumably rt2860sta.ko or rt2870sta.ko, a

Yesterday evening I had a GPU hang after 24h of squeezing the i845. First
symptom was that totem player was shutting down without comment after it had

Hi Tim,
unfortunately I do not have your hardware, so I have to imagine what I would
do. First I would blacklist all (!!!) drivers found in the
/lib/modules/xxx/kernel/drivers/net/wireless/rt2x00 directories of Brian Rogers
kernels, where xxx is e.g. 2.6.35rc5-nopatch1-generic for one of his lat
