Adding Option "Tiling" "False" to xorg.conf works for me too on Asus
EeePC 701 with 2.6.28-13.44 kernel.

I was experiencing a very unresponsive Ubuntu Netbook Remix launcher on
my Asus Eee PC 701. I installed the following kernel files and I can
confirm that the performance is now good.
Files installed:
linux-headers-2.6.28-11-generic_2.6.28-11.43~lp349314apw5_i386.deb
linux-image-2.6.28-11-generic
I guess that this thread will get a lot busier now that Ubuntu 9.04 is
at final release.

I installed Ubuntu 9.04 NBR Beta last night and I have the edge
scrolling issue described above on my Asus Eee PC 701, i.e. it initially
works ok then stops working after a few minutes. Wouldn't the latest
version of this package be installed during installation of the OS? I
will check which versio

Same here on a new install of Ubuntu 10.04 with Gwibber 2.30.0.1... I'm
not seeing all Facebook replies, just some of them. Makes it pretty
impracticable in use, as I end up having to visit Facebook internet
page.
