Following installation of several updates on 24th July - when the file
browser (nautilus) is activated it will not permit opening of further
folders by the normal mouse left-click or the mouse right-click, open
selection however, files can be accessed. Folders can only be open

Received the "failed to install" message during my daily update.
However I notice that the 'old' Printer icon has recently been removed from the
System/Administration Menu now that the 'new' Printer configuration system is
working.

When Aesops Fables, Live CD, Examples folder, is played and paused before the
end it causes the module to freeze. There is no 'play' button offered and the

Recent updates fixed the 100%cpu issue however, network access is still
broken -as above- unless one enters password etc and 'forget
immediately'. So, if password is set to be remembered - there is no
access to the share but if password is set to be forgotten immediately
then access is OK.

This bug has been visible for some time: if OO writer is opened and
closed, after a reboot, this bug is always visible but doesn't show
again - until a reboot.

Sorry - tried but unable to run gdb in the short time that Aesop's Fables (Live
CD Examples folder) allows.
However I did find that if Aesop's Fables is played via Rythmbox there is no
problem, the problem of 'freeze' happens when played under default Movie Player.
I'd be willing to explore furth

No so I'm afraid...I had trouble with the latest grub-pc, having worked
around that I reinstalled Plymouth and my original problem returned -
for me it's an issue with Nvidia - the system is asking it to run my
screen with out of range parameters.

20.10 Installer tried grub-install/dev/sda and then grub-update twice before
failing to install.
No previous problems with many past Ubuntu installs onto sda, this is not a efi
boot system.
