Having a similar problem. Firefox is using swfdec for all things Flash
and most of it isn't working. Youtube video's have sound out of sync
with video and on the BBC website the videos start to load and then give
an error saying that the content is not available at this time. Happens
on all flash v
Sorry for the double post, just wanted to add, whenever there is flash
content on a page which is opened either in a new window or new tab,
firefox becomes sluggish and has very short freezes while the page is
loading. Pages also take longer to load.

I have and had a similar problem. With 9.04 when freshly installed, I
had this audio skipping problem. I can't remember what I did to fix it
though. Now with 9.10 it's back again. Doesn't happen all the time,
which is annoying as it's hard to reproduce. When it happened yesterday,

I would have thought this would have been fixed by now.

I am still having this problem., but it is sporadic. I had this problem
with Ubunto 10.10 and again in 12.10 after the upgrade. My other
computer has this problem with Linux Mint 13 as well.
Tonight, I sent files over to my XP laptop, came home wanted to pull
those files back here, and nothing..
I am using Ubuntu 10.10 currently, but I had this same problem with
10.04LTS which I freshly installed 2 days ago. Dropbox gets to 99%,
then it goes to a sleep status when I check the System Monitor.

I as well have been plagued by this problem (NFS mounts failing on
bootup) ever since upstart was introduced to Ubuntu.
Not sure why it's so hard to have the network up before things like
mount are called, but apparently it is with Ubuntu.
