That is not true. After apport uploaded my crash file, I was asked to
check if my issue was not already reported. And it was. Are you
suggesting I should have opened a duplicated bug? That doesn't sound
right
I'm using the 295.40 version of the NVIDIA driver and I have the same
problem.

This issue is more serious than it sounds. After unlocking the screen my
display has horizontal flickering lines and a bad/visible refresh rate.
They disappear after a couple of minutes but I'm afraid this will affect
my display on the long run.
