an 9.04, but I _guarantee_ it's there. If you know it's there, you suddenly realise why you hate the touchpad and you see clearly the delay. In 9.04, the problem is multiplied by 5x (give or take), and that's why people noticed. I am happy to provide whatever info you might need.

Hi, About trying different kernels: how do I do it? I always freak, installing things with dpkg. Is there a way to so things with synaptics, adding the PPA? I guess the question is: what's the easiest. least dangerous way to try these kernels? Thanks... Merc. -- AlpsPS/2 ALPS GlidePoint
