Binary package hint: beryl-kubuntu
I am using Kubuntu 7.04 (Feisty Fawn). I have installed beryl and it
works flawlessly. There is one issue though.
I have configured my photos/images as screen saver for kde. The screen
saver starts as per the time given in the setup. Howeve
the bug is still there in gutsy. I am pasting my screen shot for firefox
and open office. Open office does not honour the subpixel smoothing. I
have mine set to slight and it works perfectly for all apps only open
office does not use it.
Also, this bug is in there for almost a year now. Not sure w

I am facing this strange issue. the tty where working earlier when I
used to press ctrl + alt + F1 thru F6. Now, suddenly it has stopped
working and seems I am not the only one facing this issue. I asked on
the forums and there are some people who have this problem.

Yes I too think the problem is with gnome-mount extension. hope it gets
fixed soon as it is quite pain to restart the laptop. Is it possible to
restart gnome-mount anyway?

i have tested in kde. konqueror wheel keeps rotating, but it does not
hang konqueror. i can go to other folder. but the same does not happen
in gnome. desktop hangs and so does nautilus. kde has its own separate
application for desktop i think it is kdesktop and hence it does not
hang the desktop.

I am using KDE and the font rendering of open office is very different
from the one in gnome. I am attaching screen shots too.
The fonts are much smoother in gnome vs. kde. I have set the virtual
same settings in gnome and kde.

I am still getting this error and it is forcing me to shutdown my ubuntu
every day. I have found that issue is probably in gnome-mount extension.
Nautilus simply hangs and it does not do anything after printing line
