Thanks. The fix worked, except Software Sources said that the PGP key
was not authenticated, or something along those lines. The Software
Sources window then stopped responding, and had to be manually killed. I

name of Samba, "grep -i '^s.*m.*b' /usr/dict/words". This returns "grep:

Look like in this bug problem with drivers for WiMax card (intel 5350).
I removed files i2400m-fw-usb-1.3.sbcf and i2400m-fw-usb-1.4.sbcf from folder
/lib/firmware and suspend/resume start work properly.
I received messages in dmesg:

I installed the new kernel from comment 6 on Friday and it appears to
have resolved the issue for me. The corruption generally took a while
to appear after starting X, but so far there's been no sign.

I've just added the following stat overrides on a system that had not
yet upgraded to the latest tomcat6 package:

I have the same problem using a LG Flatron W2442. Everything worked fine with
Ubuntu 9.10. The monitor was correctly identified. Since Ubuntu 10.04 it is
identfied as "GoldStar Company Ltd 24" ". Other monitors work fine with the new

Yes sorry. When I reboot, the problem comes back. I must press
CTRL+ALT+F1 to restart gdm and then the touchpad disabled button works
well.
