A couple of hours ago I did a local upgrade to 1.4.15 using the package
at GetDeb. I have not experienced this issue at all during that time. I

Also, in Hardy the bluetooth applet is not automatically set on. It
appears in sessions but it is not on by default. Unless you know that
there is supposed to be an application in the sessions startup, you're
going to run into the problems that I did.

Hardy Heron. Network Manager v0.6.6; network driver is 'b44', which

It has been two days and the behavior has not repeated using the

Sure, i'm attaching another. I'm worried that it's still not doing

freezes up and I eventually have to force-quit it.

It stopped doing it. I guess I must have had another piece of software
installed that was interfering. I hadn't tried using it for a while,
but I just did and the downloads are completing successfully, and the
program is not freezing.
I'll keep this bookmarked in case it starts happening again.

I'd like to help, if possible. I'm not running Hardy, just regular old
gutsy. I also get import errors, for my entire library, every time i
run rhythmbox. however, it doesn't affect my ability to play or view the
files in my library.

thoughts together.
I found the "something simple" that I was missing. The solution was
quite simple. I'm still using /dev/ttyUSB0 and 1.
Before starting gnome-pilot, open a terminal and type:
sudo modprobe visor
to load the vi
I should add, for those who might be looking for help and don't know
this is possible, you can make the module load automatically.
sudo gkedit /etc/modules
add visor to the end of the list, save. You're done..

after using it more, it seems that this only happens after you've
manually stopped gdm and then started it back. I don't think it happens

If you open a new file and start typing the wrapping DOES work. It's
only when you open an existent file that it doesn't. I don't know if

I've never entirely understood what the word "driver" means in a Linux
context. Neither of those shows up when I do lsmod. I feel pretty confident

If you download Eclipse from Synaptic without any of it's updates, and
then attempt to update it from it's internal updater, it fails. This
only happens if you get eclipse from synaptic, i.e. if you download the
tar from the eclipse website and manually unzip it in

Wouldn't that be cool? We could install all the wesnoth packages at once
if so desired... Something to consider anyway, especially if someone has

sorry to repost...the display is centered and looks great. The problem
of the flickering screen ( dashes appearing rapidly) is not a major
problem but is annoying so would be grateful if someone can help. It
seems to appear after about 20 mins and if i switch off leave for a time
it disappears on r

Problem here too, 9.10 on an MSI Wind using wubi. I installed a bunch of
recommended updates on Sunday, and next tried to use laptop this
morning, only to have the "kernel panic" message (plus two LEDs
flashing) and no way of doing anything other than power off. I got to my
data by mounting from a
problem also exists on the original live cd.
Any help will be appreciated.
