xterm leads to an error when trying to run code as codeblocks tries to execute

Looks like this also affects me. At first i had no internet at all and
could only reach my router. I could ping www.google.co.nz and
www.ubuntu.com but could not reach them with fire fox. After five
minutes I could reach google with firefox and search but would
