It is difficult to reproduce, but it happens daily with me, and it's
made me try other gecko browsers. It happens on all of them, Seamonkey,
Firefox, Fasterfox and Flock, downloaded in tar.gz or installed through
apt. I've almost not found any mention of it on the net, although it's
happened for me
It does not happen because of an extension. It happens also in Seamonkey
and Flock. I saw this is also reported as a MacOS X bug on the mozilla
bug forum. It must be a Gecko engine bug somehow.

Yes, it has to be running a while. Not certain it has to be _many_
house, but 1 or 2 yes. Sometimes it happens sooner, sometimes later.
