I have Geforce 6200 LE graphics card with AMD64 desktop. If I enable the
restricted driver, then I'm told to restart the machine. Everything is
fine except after log into gdm. Suddenly, the monitor lost the DVI

I have the same problem, but different behavior.
The NetworkManager applet can connect to WPA2 home network, but it get
disconnected for every several seconds. And then the whole system does
not response any more(can't even switch to other tty console). Have to
power off the laptop to restart it.
Also attached dmesg and lspci result. Hope this will help identify the
root cause. Thanks.

I've observed this in a Karmic virtual machine when the host machine is
accessing the disk heavily. It looks like the cause is due to the

For me, the same issue remains but I suspect it is related to Nvidia
driver, since after I removed nvidia driver, both suspend and hibernate
work normal with this new kernel. I used the proprietary tested
Nvidia-390.48 driver on Nvidia 1080.
With this new kernel, I tested hibernate with the open
I tried kernel 4.17.0-7.8 from cosmic on Ubuntu bionic and got some
issues. After installing the 4.17 kernel, I tested my PC and found it
can hibernate normally. But, later on I found the kernel was not
compatible with Nvidia-driver 390.48 that was from Ubuntu bionic

the tool he's packaging.
On precise, there's a one-line /usr/bin/pump file that contains the
include_server= line that should be in /usr/bin/distcc-pump. That line
is wrong though. It refers to python2.6 whereas on Precise the

post the usbmon trace(see guide in below link), otherwise it is
difficult to say where is wrong.
