I noticed some "New in repository" items via Synaptic Package Manager.
Ran those - had to uninstall "bluez-compat"

I can also confirm this behaviour in 64bit Jaunty, I have turned off the
loading of images and the Exchange connector.

Last Restart I had to "Search" for devices (button on the Blueman

After the last patch - last night (Sat 18th) to Intrepid (64bit) I got
some sync activity going between my Nokia 6233 phone and the
Sunbird/Lighting interface. Lots of output - eg
Sent an entry 496 of size 415 to member 2 (sunbird-sync). Changetype ADDED
Sent an entry 482 of size 415 to member 2
Gave up with the 6233.
However on the 6110 - deleted ALL calendar items and then did the sync -
WORKED perfectly from PC to Phone. Also From phone to PC and back again.
Will now delete all calendars on 6233 and see if that helps.
If not will do a software update to the 6233 (if any) and see if t
On the 6233 - the trick was to Delete all entries on the phone including
notes and then sync and then it justs WORKS!!!

If I manually fix the calendar item the Bluetooth transfer works.
However if I open the item in Lighting and Re-Save the UID field is re-

I have be playing with Kubuntu 8.10 64 bit (a glutton for punishment I
hear you say!!)
Well after mucking around with kdebluetooth4 and stuff - I down graded
all 4.25 bluetooth components to 4.12 as suggested by Alex and using
bluez-gnome - bluetooth worked !

After playing with and committing to Ubuntu 64bit 8.10, I decided to

Can you disable the Bluetooth Radio until the PC boots - I get the same
error if the Bluetooth radio is active during the boot process?
Its totally repeatable. There are some times function keys - (on
laptops) that will toggle switch the radio on and off.
