very well on the generic kernel.
But today, I tried to install linux-rt(2.6.27.3) : Xorg crashes : "(EE)
NVIDIA(0): Failed to load the NVIDIA kernel module!"

Hi.
I have a XPS M1530 and I have the strange HD clicks 1 or 2 times per
minutes.

In gnome volume manager, I had set "Multi Track Internal Clock" to IEC958 Input.
I have change that value to 44100 and now, all is ok.

I don't find what I have changed to have the bug reappear. I have no
sound when GDM start before I open my session, so I don't think this is
a problem related to my personal settings.
I have tried to remove pulseaudio, the problem is still here.

The module has been built but nothing happened. so I tried to do sudo

It seems that all the global shortcuts of KDE3 apps don't work in a KDE4
environment. The problem is that Amarok 1.4 (kde3) is the default music

Hi,
It is clearly a bug because this make "open with" unusable for non geek users.
Firefox is one of the most used applications for them. My father simply cannot
choose how to open downloaded files. He is totally lost when firefox asks him
the "open with" dialog.

Ok, I have downloaded kde-guidance 0.8.0svn20080103-0ubuntu9 and installed it.
dpkg -l shows me that it is ok.
But I have still the bug.
