I believe that the report is being sent automatically, after every
crash, 30-50 times per day. I just thought that this might be a quicker
way to get my issue resolved. am I right to assume that i should not
have filed this report? Was it redundant and unnecessary? If so I

So then,,I should file a copy here as well? Or not...It is always Compiz
that crashes it always sends a report, does that not automatically go to
the proper project? I have given a quick look at the instructions that
someone had posted about, and it seems to basically replicate the
automatic report
Okay I had tried using the like to file a report I got this msg in the

Me too! Just yesterday I had gotten the same odd and vague msg. box popping up
asking for my password. I've had 12.04 running since it had been released and
had never seen this one prior to then. I WAS NOT going to insert my password
into this, uhm thing?

While using CairoDock the Recent Documents folder in the Applications
menu gets merged with icon for Software Center after running ubuntu for
awhile. After that, whenever i click to open the applications menu,
Software Center opens on it's own while passing over it to choose

all machines, if that is any help..
Also every time i log out, then log back in again, it is okay for a
while,,,sometimes hours, before it gets all screwed up again.

Sorry I hadn't got back sooner. The problem is long since resolved.. I
believe at least part of the problem had been due to ram memory. I
believe i had only 1 gig. Since i have upped it to 2.5 gigs I have not
had the problem again..

I have had problems with video drivers since installing 12.04, shortly

short order. Web browser, home folder etc, etc. Got so bad that I
reloaded the OS, Ubuntu. Clean install. And it was okay for a day or so,
until it started to happen again. Just Software center so far.
