This is the closest I can find to my current problem: 12.04 Beta2 num-
lock key doesn't work.
Numeric key pad is "off" (up, down, etc keys working). Num-lock key
doesn't enable the numeric keypad.
Num-lock key works fine for virtual-terminals.
Solutions posted in the past referred to a "mouse
