I configured my desktop to have a static IP address on my network and I
don't let network manager manage the connection. This makes SC seem to
think I am not connected to the internet at all and refuses to enable
any "install" buttons.

udev to load modules based on CPUID features, e.g. coretemp and cpufreq drivers.

I have Ubuntu 10.10 but I have a problem with the firefox in the page
es.justin.tv, because in this page have videos using flash player but in
firefox doesn't work but in the other browser like chrome or opera this
page work with any problem.

go to terminal and run df -h when the system language is set to french
(possibly the same problem occurs in other languages). the column
headings are too far to the right so they do not match up to the columns
they are intended to correspond to.

I updated my system today and got strange font rendering problems in
emacs. I tested emacs23 23.1+1-4ubuntu7 and emacs-snapshot-gtk
20090909-1 . Both behave exactly the same. The bug is very easy to

I am using two monitors (laptop + external monitor). The bug does _not_
manifest itself, when I unplug the external monitor. Strange.

I've not found a fix for this yet, but I think I have a workaround.
Could you try compiling with "-fno-strict-volatile-bitfields" and let me
know how you get on, please?
