Experiencing the same thing as krupier123 on Ubuntu 14.10. I have tried all workarounds mentioned here. Reinstalling NetworkManager fixes the issue for a couple of minutes, then the connection dies again. Rebooting, suspending, setting managed=true in NetworkManager.conf does not do anything. --

I have a similar problem: black screen directly after first boot, but then at the second, a puple screen appears and tells me that Ubuntu could not mount my harddrive. (Ubuntu is installed on a SSD). I then proceed without having it mounted and the harddrive then appears one minute later. This happ
