For the One Hundred Paper Cuts, even just a text at the same window as

Yes it is a duplicate. It is a problem when wobbly windows is enabled.
However, I see that the progress with this bug is slow. maybe the
papercuts can handle this.
workaround: on the window list, right-click on the application and
select "move", then you can move the window away from beneath the g
If the importance dictates its urgency for fixing, then it should be.
Two years, as I see it, looks like there is no one interested in fixing
this as of the moment. If we are talking of new users, I would assume
wobbly windows is one of the features that a user will definitely use.

As I have said in my original report, I installed the kubuntu-desktop
package from synaptic. When I selected kubuntu, the gnome-panel is also
shown. I guess it is related with turning off the gnome-panel when a
kubuntu session is selected. maybe you can automate the process for
that.
