Ive tried a fresh install etc and doesnt work. I dont get it, everything
works fine in suse, fedora and ubuntu 9.04. Just going to keep using the
old os, dont think the wifi problems will be resolved as not many other
people seem to be suffering from them

have been in sync for about a day but when I look online only some of
the files seem to have been uploaded. Specfically it seems to be the

iwlagn is showing up as loaded, but when I previous carried out testing
I found that its fully installed and has problems fully executing.
iwconfig doesnt show wlan0

Just checked 9.10 live, wifi not showing up in the connections list on
the status panel. Tried manually adding my network but not connecting.
Previous tests showed that the wireless card detected but remained
unclaimed even after driver installation compelted successfully (note:

I will run the test as soon as I can. Please note that this bug was
opened with 8.10 by someone else and I have just reopened it as I am
having the same problem in 9.10. I shouldn't be a hardware fault because
the wireless card works perfectly under 9.04. Btw, I ran some more tests
under ndiswrappe

Also note that the problem is definately not the machine or card is I
have no problems in windows using the drivers on the intel website
(drivers only install)
