Binary package hint: bacula
bacula in dapper (8.04 LTS) does not contain script for smooth upgrade
of the catalog from bacula in hardy (6.10 LTS). bacula had big milestone
in between ... so finding script from 1.3.8 (found in debian some
package) was needed.

i have similar problem.
with 2.6.22-14-server it looks fine, with 2.6.24-23-server sytem hangs when
clients work over nfs on nfs-shares.
the hotfix was to return to old kernel used before upgrade from 6.10 LTS to
8.04 LTS.
