I've installed Gutsy and the performance is better. I got a better fps
in glxgears and the new driver seems to work well.

For some reason, upon upgrading from kernel 2.6.20-15 to 2.6.20-16 it
creates an extra CD-ROM drive titled CDROM1 that isn't functional nor
removable. The update was available yesterday.
