I'm confirming this bug because I have noticed that I cannot get sound
on a fresh installation on Lenovo Y410. However, with the following
modprobe option, I can get sound, but without headphone jack support.
option snd-hda-intel model=fujitsu

Okay, I'm not sure exactly how user-friendly you'd want it, but right
now we've got a file in /etc/pm/config.d/00sleep_module which allows you
to select your sleep module. uswsusp, kernel, and tuxonice are
supported. tuxonice will of course require a patch in the kernel, but
that's a different matt

like to point out that 90clock was causing a time gap not because of an
actual lag, but because the clock was changed. Without it, if you
suspend for 5 hours, your system clock will be behind by 5 hours. What

Hi, have you installed all of the gstreamer0.10-plugins-good, bad and
ugly packages? XMMS does not use these to play MP3s, though Banshee,
Rhythmbox and Totem, as well as other GStreamer based applications all
do. I'm marking this as invalid because many others are able to play
MP3s with the codecs

The proper way to use s2ram is to add a line SLEEP_MODULE="uswsusp"
in /etc/pm/config.d/00sleep_module.
But before that, it would be great if you could
post /var/log/pm-suspend.log after attempting to run pm-suspend.

Looking at the patch, doesn't it only check for actions when starting
up? What happens in the notification daemon was changed after startup?
Perhaps killing notify-osd and starting notification-daemon or vice
versa.
