I can confirmed this problem with kile 2.1 in Jaunty. When typing a long
line, it becomes very slow. Same problem also exists in kate with about
500 characters in one line. I just open kate and kile and start editing
by pressing key without releasing. The slowdown is obvious once the line
gets lon
I can also confirm the speed improvement by using "-graphicssystem
raster", my graphic card is intel 945GM and using xf86-video-intel-2.7.0

I prefer to err on the recently-used func.
This patch overwrited the g_bookmark_file_to_file() func to fixed the
considerable I/O problem,
and switching to the new-style gtk_file_chooser_dialog.

Actually there's support for the following hypervisors : xen, kvm, vmw6,
and vmserver
Since KVM needs VT instructions, and Ubuntu doesn't support Xen Dom0
anymore, it would be great to support (k)qemu too, especially for people
without hardware VT instructions on their CPU.

I had strace that under zh_CN.UTF-8 locale,
it seems it will polls the nonexistent gbk-0 X core fonts .

I found that it can be "fixed" by Xgl.
Fonts can display fine under Xgl, but no properly under Xorg7.1 .

it was Dejavu in dapper, kubuntu dapper can't use dejavu to display Chinese,
because dejavu wasn’t configure in fontconfig.
we’d configure it if guys wanna read Chinese in non

I think my case is similar as yours:
I tried to install 7.10 beta desktop amd64 into my board, but I find that the
