I just had the same bug occur. Have screenshot attached. looked
through logs; found no entry for it.

On trying to install a gameport driver for an SB LIve! PCI audio card, I
thought to uninstall the Nvidia video driver. No luck, so, I tried to
reinstall the Nvidia driver and got an error msg.
