After upgrading to lucid from karmic, some (not all) openoffice documents
(either odp, ods or odt) can not be opened anymore from cifs network drive,
while they can be opened if copied on a local hard drive.

I am not convinced at all that this bug is a duplicate of bug #486443 since:
*openoffice and OOo version are different
*error messages are totally different
*bug #486443 seems to affect only KDE

In my case, I can save to cifs drives but can't open, so I think the two bugs

No I don't have this option in my fstab. I try to had nomand to be sure, but it

Great news: I solved my problem! The nomand option is not valid for
cifs, you have to use nobrl
in fstab
//machine/partition/media/Sauvegardecifs
nobrl,credentials=/root/.smbcredentials,uid=1000,gid=100,rw,iocharset=utf80

I recently upgraded from vivid to wily. Since then, qgis crashed at startup
with the following error in the command line. The crash occurs just after
displaying "installation de l'interface graphique" and then "vérification des
extensions prestataires"

I solved the problem on my own. The bug was due to a broken ecw driver after
wily upgrade. I just reinstalled ecw driver following those instructions and it
works again

to know if it is possible to downgrade to version 2.28 (which used to work
perfectly) while keeping ubuntu 10.10.

Well, after reinstalling evolution, I can see my calendar again. However, I
still get the error message "Cannot send calendar objects" when trying to book
a resource. I enclose a trace of the error.

send e-mail, however in that case, I am note able to subsribe to other

e-mails, however calendar access is still so slow that it is totally
non-functional and useless. Hope it will be solved quickly seems
calendars are essential to collaborate in our institute

it seems that I was a bit optimistic. Using the calendar, I am not able to book
any resources when using the ppa version. I get the following error message
(sorry in French) "Impossible de réserver une ressource, l'erreur est :
