Same problem here with the transmission-cli package. Had no
transmission packages installed. Did an update & upgrade via apt-get.
$ sudo apt-get install transmission-cli
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Some packages could not be in
Still having the same problem with package transmission-cli.

Here's a workaround:
sudo echo “openoffice.org-filter-binfilter hold” | sudo dpkg --set-selections
Then do the dist upgrade

breaks dist-upgrade: E: Couldn't configure pre-depend openoffice.org-core for
openoffice.org-filter-binfilter, probably a dependency cycle.
