[Bug 1845771] [NEW] postfixadmin php7-incompatible default configuration

2019-09-28 Thread hanshenrik
Public bug reported: 18.04's postfixadmin package defaults to $database_type="mysql"; in /etc/postfixadmin/dbconfig.inc.php , but 18.04 ships with PHP 7.2, and the "mysql" database driver doesn't work with PHP versions above 5.6, the 7.X compatible database driver is called "mysqli" - since 18.04

[Bug 1715097] Re: postfixadmin should work with MariaDB, cause it is a drop-in replacement

2019-09-28 Thread hanshenrik
this issue seems to be fixed in 18.04, i didn't have to install mysql- server to install postfixadmin, just having mariadb-server installed was enough to satisfy apt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpa

[Bug 1826271] Re: virt-manager does not save preferences

2024-07-27 Thread hanshenrik
I had the same problem on 24.04 but only when running on root. installing dbux-x11 fixed it on root as well. IMO dbus-x11 should be made a recommended dependency for virt-manager. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https:

just installed php-fpm + nginx on a 20.04 system today (2021-12-05) which installed 7.4.3-4ubuntu2.7 , which seems vulnerable, POC code still causes segfaults: https://github.com/cfreal/exploits/blob/master/php-SplDoublyLinkedList- offsetUnset/exploit.php i don't think this is fixed yet? at least

2021-12-06 Thread hanshenrik
Fwiw my personal opinion is that sticking to 7.4.3 is wasted effort, should keep up with the upstream 7.4.X releases and update to 7.4.25 rather than backport fixes to 7.4.3 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.
