this bug also affects me. please let me know if there is anything i can
do to help isolate or research this bug. until it is fixed, intrepid
upgrade is completely out of the picture for me.
for the record, i have an aopen minipc with a 945 chipset hooked up to
a wide-screen lcd monitor via the

since my system is not a laptop but a small desktop, i have some
troubleshooting options. for example, if i disco

for the record, i had no problems with several intrepid alpha releases and then
updated to alpha 5 and the problem started.
