I can also confirm this bug when running Intrepid on an Lenovo Ideapad
S10e and trying to move files to another computer via ssh over the
ethernet interface. The command "sudo ethtool -K eth0 rx off tx off"
fixes the problem.

When wlan on my laptop is enabled, vym (1.10.0-1ubuntu1) just doesn't
start up. Doing a "strace vym" on the terminal indicates, that vym just
stops loading (no errors, doesn't quit) while doing something (which i
can not comprehend) concerning network
