Same problem in jaunty.
Live cd does not boot at all if a video card is connected.
The system boots up only with the on board video chip.
Blacklisting intel_agp module it works fine.
I had to modify squash filesystem image on live CD to blacklist intel_agp.
Same issue on installed system, same work

I am also experiencing a similar problem on my Asrock P4i65GV (intel ICH5)
chipset.
I know that in in intrepid and jaunty was necessary to blacklist intel_agp
module to make that mobo working.
With karmik the only solution to make live CD bootable (and installable) is to
expand inittramfs and sq
In addittion:
it seems that attempting to manually resynch always causes a synch-daemon lock.
The daemon does not responds and its CPU load goes to 40/60% .

I'm experiencing the same problem in karmic
uname 2.6.31-15-generic
If I burn an iso image burnig looks OK but when I insert the burned CD dmesg
shows these errors:

Same problem in jaunty (brasero V2.26.1)
Reading from CD audio is very slow (1 hour for a 52 minutes audio CD).
The same hardware/disc in windows environment works fine.
I have attached brasero-debug.txt, but it's incomplete cause i have stopped
reading operations (It was reading at about 0.3-0.4x

The printer worked fine with all previous ubuntu releases.
After a quantal fresh install the printer freezes and needs off/on cycle.

Little update.
Unchecking the Upnp box in nework options, the client starts like a charm.
So, this issue maybe upnp related, because if i activate Upnp port forwarding
in Transmission, the chient doesn't starts and when it finally comes up, the
port is closed on the router and never will be open

Same issue for me.
nvidia 96 simply does not works either on distro upgrade from lucid and
maverick fresh install.
It seems thath the nvidia installer is not able to create the appropriate
