NFSv3 workaround has serious consequences on all the clients that
refused to downgrade the protocol.
My only option, till a patch, is to dow
I reverted an affected VM to the old kernel and the speed is good again.
The process I followed was:
- install an Ubuntu 24.04.00 KVM Virtual Machine
- test speed -> OK with 6.8.0-31-generic
- apt upgrade (more than 200 packages, kernel included)
- test speed -> KO with 6.8.0-54-generic
- remove

It is a very strange problem.
I have a new DELL PowerEdge R470 installed with Ubuntu 24.04 updated to
the last level (at the time 24.04.02 / 6.8.0-54-generic).
The DELL PowerEdge R470 has a bridge and KVM installed.
If I start a new virtual machine with vanilla Ubuntu 24.04
I can add that the problem exists also in 6.11.x lines of kernels (I
tested both 6.11.0-17-generic and 6.11.0-19-generic).

and it solved the performance problem of mine too.
It is marked: 6.8.0-56-generic
It means that can it be present in the next kernel update ?
