Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: empathy
Compared to Pidgin, there seems to be no way in Empathy to make a multi-
person MSN conversation. This is a serious feature regression compared
to the previous default IM client
-> Can't make group chat room on a MSN server.
-> Can't invite
Broken on Lucid as of now. Forcing Pidgin to always display its icon in
the system notification window fixes this issue. Probably some complex
interaction with the new libnotify libraries.

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gdm
GDM on startup displays a mouse on a black screen instead of the usual
login screen. Switching virtual terminals fixes the problem
occasionally, with "[drm:drm_mode_getfb] *ERROR* invalid framebuffer id"
being produced in dmesg. On other occasions,
Still a bug with the latest Lucid update.

Well, just to try things out, I managed to hobble together a pulseaudio
output for timidity, based off of the ESD code already present. It
works, but as #12 says, pulseaudio kills any connection from a user
which does not happen to be the one that starts pulse.
Well, anyways, here's the code for

/etc/timidity not ours.
Mar 20 18:18:44 fish-laptop pulseaudio[26345]: lock-autospawn.c: Cannot access
autospawn lock.

We probably ought to change timidity into a user-mode daemon, and have
it autostart on X login. Having it being run on startup seems fine,
though having it get killed on logout is another matter altogether.

Well, that runs into bug #518352
