removed the gstreamer codecs and totem-gstreamer, installed xine 1s.
Before xine, I had tried vlc, smplayer too and they could not play dvds
too. with xine, all works perfectly. so I think there s problem with

well, I have a clue about the bug, I had canceled the windows boot
before installing the ubuntu so windows boot options(safe mode, normal
mode, safe mode with network etc.) appeared after linux installation
and trying to boot window from grub. so there is no problem till reach
windows boot options

manufacturer? mines are Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD2500KS 250GB.

since 7.04, I still ve same problem. I tried 8.04alpha yesterday and
same problem. indeed I cant understand that although I ve no problem in
6.10 with same setup why I ve this problem with newer ubuntu version's.
at least I wanna learn that any1 here has raid installed with ubuntu

finally I could try the beta but there still s bad news, same issue,
booting from the beta cd is enough to make offline 1 of the raid 0
membered hdd. indeed I wonder what was changed after 6.10 releases and
they creates this problem with western dijital disks:)

I realized that my problem does not related with dmraid. whenever I boot

and after powered of the pc they are back as online. I tried 64 and 32
bit livecds, kernel 2.6.21.1 but the problem was still there. are there

first kernel compiling experience:). after kernel compiled ı installed
but the same issue was in there. ı used .configure from edgy installed
on raid0 to compile kernel. although I managed to install the new kernel
