complaining that gdb couldnt get control of the terminal, it seems tht
gdb used in ubuntu 9.10 is newer than netbeans can accept. Maybe keep a

I copy the file from gdb 6.8 that come with ubuntu 9.04, coping the /usr/bin
files that come in the .deb file, in the /usr/bin/gdb-6.8
manually, and changed the gdb to be used in the configurations on netbeans.
Problem solved. So it is a good ideia to create a older gdb to be installed
together
I think this could be a kernel problem. because I upgraded to ubuntu
9.10 and the problem is gone.

grub becomes useless, presenting only a "Cannot find "uparrowsomething"
symbol" message. I reinstaled ubuntu without updating grub-pc and is

+ Update: It has sound.. but it only outputed in a headphone connector.
+ The other headphone exit is mute and the laptop amps are in the same
+ state. And the sound in the headphone is to low to the maximum vo
possible work around..

Im having a similar problem in ubuntu 9.10, when I import some .tex
files from windows, generated in texmaker as well, some character like
"ã" and "ç" seems to be deleted, but when I put it again, tex live
process them incorrectly puting some other characters instead. I im
using ubuntu is portugues
