But changing this

from '/media/samsung_1gb' to 'samsung_1gb' resolves it.

I have a Samsung YP-U1 1 GB OGG/MP3 Player and I use Feisty.
I never had problems with the digital audio player and Feisty.
Now I just did an apt-get update, apt-get dist-upgrade and this is what I have:

I have recently installed a 64bit Karmic server, upgraded all packages
to be up to date, and installed LTSP. I configured a i386 LTSP client to

I have the same problem (until kernel version 6.8.0-55-generic).
I upgraded manually the kernel to 6.8.12-060812-generic and I can confirm the
issue is fixed.
I hope this can help to verify the differences in the change log of the two
kernels.
