Booting to live session fails with: at-spi-bus-launche
jbicha, don't reply with such an arrogant attitude on relevant questions
about this bug - it is only interesting to most Ubuntu community members
because of being a show stopper for 18.04 final release.

I created Ubuntu 18.04 installer using Unetbootin to my Usb-drive,
started it and proceeded in installing, but itfails in the middle of
bootloader creation and stops there.
Expected results: Ubuntu 18.04 gets installed to my hard disk on
partition of its own.

No, th fix #3 does not work, nor the GRUB or EFI boot loader setup fail,
Ubuntu 18.04 can not be installed with this, the bug is still there.

In Ubuntu 18.10 this bug is still here, my /var/log/syslog went to 38 GB
in two hours.

I am on Ubuntu 16.04 / ZBook -laptop with "NVIDIA binary driver -
version 375.39" and have the same issue every time my laptop wakes from
suspend. The window borders are all white and the cannott moved or acted
on.
My workaround is simple. Just "ps aux | grep compiz" and check the
process number
Issue is still in Xenail with Nvidia 378.13, and none of the workarounds
above does work.
White borders always appear after resume from suspend and e.h CTRL-
ALT-F1 and then back CTRL-ALT-F7 does nothing, neither changing Nividia
Settings tweaking..
Only thing that works is to kill the compiz pro

Ok, got it, found the PPA here: https://launchpad.net/~graphics-
drivers/+archive/ubuntu/ppa and using synaptic installed the Nvidia 381
beta driver in my Xenial 16.04.01, and it seems to fix the issue.
