I have a DELL Latitude D820 with the same problem. Yesterday I upgraded from
9.10 to 10.10 (changed hard disc and did a fresh 10.10 install). I get the

I have almost the same problem, but for me it don't help to switch to console
and back to x.
After i have written the password i can see the mousepointer changing when i
move it across the screen, depending on what is suppose to be showing (link in
firefox, text input, etc), but the screen stays
I have now used #270 for 6 days, and I still get about 7Mbit/s down and
0.64Mbit/s up. These number are what I could expect from my ISP. I get
the same speed by testing the from my MacBookPro.
#270 surely works for my system and I am very happy!

Same in natty, if liferea is already open and behind other applications
on the desktop clicking on it from the messaging menu does nothing. But
if liferea is running minimized when you click it from messaging menu
the icon in the launcher shakes and the program is raised.

I've just installed Jaunty from netboot

but got a problem.
When trying to install deluge I get a dependency error on the python-
libtorrent package. Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this
I'll test again when those bugs are out, but is it any way of getting an
auto-message on when they are?

Can this issue be that live-config-sysvinit just depends on the wrong package?
live-config-sysvinit depends on sysvinit >=2.86.
That package seems retired and are replaced with:
sysvinit-utils 2.88dsf-41ubuntu6
So maybe if the package got the dependencies changed to this one, it

I'm new to this, so what are the next steps to get a patch approved, so
we can use live-bui

Digital camera not re
I have run the lsusb command. Since I am now at work, this comes from
another computer, a Dell Latitude E6520. But I also have the problem on
a Dell Inspiron in addition to the HP first mentioned, so this seems to
be a general Ubuntu 14.04-problem and not a computer-specific problem.

Honestly, this goes towards nonsense. The bug appears in *all* my
computers whether I use 32bit or 64bit Ubuntu 14.04 and whether i use a
Dell Latitude, Dell Inspiron or a HP-computer. This is obviously a very
general bug in the 14.04-version of Ubuntu.

This bug affects me as well. Neither volume combination on laptop
(FN+PgUp/Down) nor media keys and launcher keys on usb keyboard work.
Other shortcuts sutch as Super+W and open terminal (Ctrl+Alt+T) work
just fine.

Might just say, the device named "HDMI/Display Port" is the only device letting
me utilize the integrated s/pdif output.
I am not using the HDMI/Display Port at my gfx card at all.
