I don't know how to reproduce this, think that have lots of mails under the
trash and little space in the Home direct
Its like when empty the trash, instead of erase those mails, mix them

Sorry, but now have Glom 1.8.5 and don't have this problem.
In this moment I open Glom in the server, then open Glom in the client via
network, close the server and when click one record in the client, the only
message I have is "No conection to the server".

I had the same problem because when cleaning, Evolution needs disc space.
The problem was Evolution index corrupted.
Solved when delete the following files and evolution create new ones. No lost
data.
rm ~/.evolution/mail/local/Inbox.ev-summary
rm ~/.evolution/mail/local/Inbox.ev-summary-meta
