- dock is visible in the login screen
- after login the dock jumps around on mouseover
- attempting to lock the screen will make the UI unresponsive and the window
with the lock option will get blurry

I used Xorg Gnome on Ubuntu 18.04 every day for it's life and never had
an unresponsive desktop. (lock screen is buggy but that's different)
I used Wayland Gnome on Ubuntu 20.04 every day for it's life and get
unresponsive desktop every few weeks.
Considering Ubuntu 21.04 is to default to Wayland
not responding to clicks (due to something crashing or not) seems to
happen shortly after switching from charging to battery, otherwise it's
intermittent... maybe trackpad related...

1) cifs should recover but instead is unusable until remount and starts

Because this is intermittent I'll try running with the non-Ubuntu gnome
UI for a few months and see what happens.
I like the upstream gnome hidden dock anyway, but there may still be
Ubuntu customizations somewhere because I still have minimize, etc that
are not in gnome-fedora.
