for linux-rt kernel, but got the following error message in make.log:

I had installed 2.6.27 from Natty and the rt2860 driver works just fine,
except for speed (54 mbps, but both my router and my adapter support 300
mbps connection)

I did install kernel 2.6.27 from Natty, and it seems it works fine. I
think it's something about KMS thing.

RaLink RT3090 doesn't work out of box with amd64 (unable to connect to
any network). This is a known issue.
But if I add rt2800pci to /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf It becomes able
to connect to the network via rt2860sta. The only issue that it does
reconnect every few minute
