I am a Sysadmin and we have 20 workstations running Ubuntu. Most of them
are still running V11.04. Two week ago I installed 3 new PC with 12.04
64bit and all 3 users reported random freeze up! All 3 PC use Unity 3D
desktop with Nvidia card. One is i7 and the other two are Core2 6600.

Yesterday I installed new released kernel 3.4.0 on all the 3 PC. also
updated with new Nvidia 304.37 driver. After that, I haven't had any
crash report from users.
