There are three files in '/var/log/dist-upgrade'. I have attached

I have a Mythbuntu base install w/XFCE (Xubuntu desktop) and added
Ubuntu desktop & Kubuntu desktop. Removing Ubuntu desktop has allowed
me to do the distribution upgrade. Thanks to all for your help.
