Hmm, it doesn't seem to connect after I try this. I have attached the
syncdaemon.conf file as requested along with the new syncdaemon.log. I

It actually seems to be working fine from this computer at the moment,

It seems to be working OK so far; I just need to get used to the way it
transfers files. The notification icon, however, is still causing
problems as far as I'm aware. The issue seems to occur when it's
disconnected while performing an operation in which case the

problem so frustrating was that I no longer have access to the other
machine and won't have for quite some time, though I have attached the
log from the laptop. The main problem, I believe, is not so much in the
way of a faulty

I'm using buttons 6 and 7, which on my mouse are on the sides of the
scroll wheel. This is without any keyboard modifiers.
Using keyboard shortcuts to do the same thing (ctrl+alt+left/right)
works as expected whether a window is focussed or not.
There's something odd
I thought it might have been Gtk related; very many thanks for working
on a fix.
I notice now that horizontal scrolling inside windows is behaving
better, but as you say, if someone is going to map functions themselves,
they probably want those functions to take precedence.

in a variety of conditions and I haven't had a panic yet. It seems to be

There seems to be a general problem with Ubuntu One files today. It
won't sync and files are inaccessible even through the browser
interface. I'd guess they're having server problems - I hope it gets
