i've upgraded to Intrepid from Hardy and got this bug too.
What i can say:
- i don't need any specific parameter to boot, i'm just waiting about 20 seconds
- when i start my desktop, all is ok and the led on the ethernet port is on

hi,
i'm testing Intrepid with virtualbox 1.6.2. at present time i can't install any
daily cdimage: memtest is ok, image is ok but immediately after pressing
install command, a kernel panic stop everything.
I've tested with nosplash, nopci, irqpoll bur no succeed

the last update of audacious (jun 2008) is broken: i use audacious with
streamtuner (before this update, all was working fine).
Now, when i want to listen a radio (shoutcast), audacious is loaded but play
nothing and it open my home folder.

i'm using Boinc Manager 5.10.45 with Hardy 2.6.24-16-generic. when i change the
preferences of computing, especially "% cpu time" and save them, then boinc
manager is supposed to update after a user call to send data or rebooting. But
it don't.

xsession-errors log : apport-gtk: error: -c option requires an argument

sorry to answer so late.
I can't remember witch url cause the crash but they are so numerous (i mean
"was" : i've no crash since 4 days now, maybe last updates resolve that problem)
my Hardy work with its repo: java-common, sun-java6 (bin, jre, plugin, jdk)
and Firefox extensions are: adblock
i've forgotten to say that Boinc 6.2.18 is working in the background and
is allowed to use no more than 50% of mem & swap ( swap file = 10 go);
boinc don't need more than 300mb

this new version, as the 2.04 one, use a lot of memory (up to 95% without using
the swap available ) and seem to never freeing it, even if the calc'file is
closed.

actually, this problem only appear with a large spreadsheet (a1:ck1200) with
only numbers and lots of embeded formulas using: and, or, if, (no circular
formula)
I can't share that document because that's not mine but i've filled it from
scratch at work.
