While I agree with your statement I disagree with your logic. I'm not
an OEM... I'm an administrator trying to integrate Ubuntu and the lack
of of the mentioned feature in oem-config DOES act as an impediment to

I can confirm this bug. I found a problem with fstab after a fresh
install of HH 8.04. A CD Rom drive was being mapped in fstab to
/dev/sdb1 inappropriately.
To check and see if this is happening to you type:
sudo gedit /etc/fstab
If you see the last two lines looking like this:
/dev/sdb1
Confirmed. Dell 1505n. FF3 begins arduous paging simply by launching
the app. Clicking links also causes prolonged greying. This problem
appeared today (as of this writing).
